Heritage is the only large fire door company capable of manufacturing traditional stile and rail construction doors, fully certified as FD30 or FD60 to BS476: Part 22 as well as EN 15725: 2023 standards. All our stile and rail doors are registered with the National Firedoor Register and delivered with a unique digital ID loaded onto a scannable datapin hidden discretely in the door.

Traditional fire doors combine modern fire performance with the character, proportions and detailing of traditional joinery. Our door-sets are made to measure in our UK workshop and can be designed to complement existing doors or replicate original features, making them ideal for period properties, listed buildings, heritage projects, hotels, schools, apartments and residential or commercial developments.

Our traditional door-sets can be manufactured in a wide variety of styles including panelled doors, stile and rail designs, glazed doors, double doors and entrance doors. We can also produce more complex designs including arched top light doors and glazed fanlights. Doors can be supplied in oak or painted finishes with traditional panels, mouldings, glazing arrangements and architectural detailing to suit the individual project. FD30, FD60 and smoke-control options are available, subject to the required specification and certification.

Where we stand apart from the crowd is in our ability to manufacture a truly bespoke traditional fire door. We can work from architectural drawings, photographs, existing doors or simply a design concept to recreate traditional proportions, panel layouts, glazing and detailing. Whether it is a simple four-panel fire door, an elaborate glazed entrance with a fanlight or a completely bespoke arched design, our aim is to provide the required fire performance while creating a door that looks like it belongs in the building.
