FD60 Certification
Custom FD60 Firedoors can be manufactured in a range of options very similar to our FD30 solutions. We can manufacture FD60 firedoors using either traditional stile and rail constructions, or build your door around a core slab with cut and stitched veneers or high pressure laminates to create an unlimited array of designs.
Doors can be supplied as smoke control variants, normally with drop down seals hidden into the underside of the door where they will not detract from the doors design.
Every FD60 door is built with a unique digital ID and is supplied with full certification documents that are linked to a discreet scannable datapin hidden inside the door. The ID and the datapin form the doors link to its registration on the National Firedoor Register

Sometimes you need a door that matches that traditional stile and rail construction for a heritage style project. We can manufacture these doors custom made to suit your project. We can provide a whole range of designs, customising doors to match existing where required.
As standard doors will be made to 54mm thick in a choice of suitable hardwoods, although we can manufacture thicker if needed.
Glazing can be incorporated into the door in a range of styles using 11mm Pyroguard glass
-
Often more cost effective than stile and rail, slab doors can nonetheless be customised to a myriad of designs.
We can cut and stitch veneers or even high pressure laminates to create face mounted designs.
Grooves and surface mount mouldings can be added to give some depth perspective
FD60 slabs are typically 54mm thick
-
We can upgrade any FD60 doors to an FD60S specification, adding smoke control.
Intumescent seals will be changed and a drop down seal hidden into the underside of the new door
-
Whether you opt for stile and rail or slab based doors, we can incorporate fire rated glass within the design.
11mm Pyroguard clear or frosted glass can be used to add light or a vision route into the doors.
All of the glass we use is custom cut and correctly marked for fire certification compliance
-
Every custom fire door we make is supplied with full certification documents. These take the form of Field of Application reports, that allow us to build a custom door without the huge expense of individual testing.
Certification is supplied digitally as part of the datapinning process
-
Every custom firedoor we build has its own unique digital ID. Each door is fitted with a discreet datapin hidden in the side of the hinge stile.
This pin carries the doors ID, and links you to the doors entry on the National Firedoor Register. Each door’s entry carries not only its certification evidence, but also details of the door itself with any hardware supplied.
If desired the doors registration can form the entry point into a Maintenance and Record Keeping system.
